NEW FRENCH SKIN CARE COMPANY
CELEBRATES U.S. LAUNCH IN CHICAGO

Sugar Grove, IL, January 30, 2009 -- Infectious and inviting. So describes the aura of the Votre Vu launch soiree, last night’s private product premiere for Chicago-area media to experience this new luxury French skin care line. The Sugar Grove-based company selected the Hotel Sofitel as a complimentary French-American venue for celebrating Votre Vu’s official U.S. opening.
Guests, charmed that Votre Vu would choose to introduce itself first to its hometown media, noted how refreshing it was to see the staff’s genuine passion for everything Vu – from its prestige products and lush packaging to its mesmerizing videos and innovative and supportive leadership. Moreover, attendees were impressed with the company’s courage to launch in today’s economy … and with such a defined personality of “American flair meets Euro chic.”
Hosting in style, Votre Vu treated guests to the full array of its botanically infused product line, a mélange of French fare, casual conversation with local Founder and CEO Harold Zimmerman, personalized sketches reminiscent of Montmartre Artists’ Square, and generous goodie bags packed with product. Revelers sipped Vu’s beauty beverage SnapDragon or Vu’s version of the martini – a.k.a. the “Snaptini” and “Bikini Strap Snap,” both solely for 21-and-over crowd. Eight of the company’s some 1,400 sales consultants donned Vu tees and strolled through the crowd, serving up product samplings from silver trays.
Notable guests included Susan Glick, Vice President of Women’s Apparel for Merchandise Mart Properties, Inc., and renowned fashion show producer; Maria Smithburg of Chicago’s social elite; Susanna Negovan, Editor in Chief of Michigan Avenue Magazine and Dan Uslan, Publisher and President of Michigan Avenue Magazine; Stacey Roney, founder of beauty website glossedandfound; and Amanda Barrett, features editor for the Chicago Sun-Times.
With the opening behind him, CEO Zimmerman focuses in on his 20/2020 vision for Votre Vu. “We already have more than 10,000 customers in love with our phenomenal product line,” he says, “and we’re going to grow that fan base exponentially this year with superior products that deliver extremely effective – and soon to be famous -- results.”
