With all of the buzz on Wall Street these days I find that it's a good time to reflect on WHY I've decided to start a new adventure in the network marketing industry with Votre Vu.

I've always believed that you have to take care of yourself and that Corporate America isn't going to fund your retirement for you. We should have the idea, we can be entrepreneurs and work for ourselves and help others do the same. Basically, we should aim to create our own financial security. Why did I choose skin care?? The skin care industry is a trillion dollar consumable industry and growing. History has shown that even during the Depression women still needed to have their lipstick. Someone else might choose nutrition or chocolate. There are so many to choose from...the point is to pick one you can be passionate about and are able to create a plan in place to market your product.

The number one argument I hear about doing network marketing is “I don't have time to network or sell”. Well, I believe that in this day and age, you DO!! Enter Social Networking! The days of bugging our friends and family are over! As Perry Marshall states 'It can all happen on autopilot with 100 percent predictability like clockwork. Ten years ago, an impossible dream - today, a reality.' Even the largest corporations are jumping on this new age of marketing and utilizing these social sites for their products.

Social networking, such as Blogs, Facebook, Twitter, My Space, etc. opens up a huge opportunity for network marketers. It levels the playing field and allows the Average Joe to set up a system to market your business while you might be....eating breakfast, playing with your kids, running errands...doing life.

There are several sites on the web to choose from along with thousands of suggestions and advice on how to do social networking. There are also sites which offer FREE Blogs, such as Google, HubPages and Squidoo. Don’t be intimidated by these great tools for marketing yourself and your new business ventures!
